When you invest in a garden parasol to keep yourself in the shade during the summer, you need to ensure you have a base available to place it in. Without it the outdoor parasol won’t be able to stay in position and you can’t fix it securely and safely in place. Our Cantilever Base for Parasol is water-filled, giving it a strong weight hold to keep your parasol right where it’s supposed to be.

The parasol base can be filled with either water or sand, with either option giving it the strength and weight needed to stay firmly in position on the floor. This is important during windier moments, when a gust can suddenly come out of nowhere or slowly but surely tip the garden umbrella over. Using a firm base stand such as this avoids those problems and also keeps you safer.

This cantilever base works best in either sections of 2 or 4, depending on the size, weight and height of your parasol. Each section is filled with either sand or water and weighs 15kg (when water filled), which will be more than enough to create a firm and strong anchor to the floor. They are sold separately to our range of parasols but are an essential part of the finished set-up.
