You could always add in a firepit or garden furniture after the work is done!
Books - Organise your books, get rid of ones you don’t want and organise the ones you do. Colour co-ordinator or organise by size.
Accessorise - Don’t be afraid to add small items like globes, lights and candle holders. These can add a lot to your home and they’re cheap.
Colour - Try to stick to a colour scheme. Black, gold and green is a great example of colours that work together to make your home look expensive and organised.
Cables - Hide your cables, this is a fast and simple way to change up your home.
Lights - Atmosphere is a big part of changing up your home, use string lights and lamps to help enhance the cosy vibe.
Paint - Refresh the paint on the walls in your home, add or remove wallpaper and make sure any wallpaper used it’s too busy.
Flooring - Try removing carpets and adding in flooring. They’re great when it comes to keeping a tidy house and they look great.
Rugs - Try adding large and simple rugs to your home, especially if you have flooring.
Kitchen - Avoid clutter in the kitchen. Keep a basket on one counter so any loose items can be put inside and then clear it out at the end of each day or when it gets full.
Curtains - We often overlook these. Try refreshing your curtains by changing them up for blinds to save curtains collecting on the floor.
That’s it, they’re our tips! Happy DIY-ing!
