Decluttering your home is a great way to give life back to your house with minimal effort and minimal money spent. Here, we have some great tips for you to use today. Once you’re done, you could even swap out your old furniture for some great new furniture

Cupboards - Organise your cupboards and get rid of any old pots, pans and other items that you didn’t realise you were still holding onto. 

Add shelving - Shelving is a great way to create more space. This is a fantastic way to declutter cupboards and shelves and make your home look more sparse without getting rid of much.

New carpets - If they’ve been there for a while, consider adding a few new carpets to give your home a fresh look.

Use hidden space - Using hidden space is a great way to declutter certain areas of your home without having to get rid of a lot.

Unwanted items  - Get rid of unwanted items like books and CDs. Often these have been collected through the years and go untouched.

Hide wires - Hiding wires is a fantastic way to get rid of unwanted clutter in your home.

Designate space - Creating a designated space for electronics and other items is a great way to see what you do or don’t need whilst you’re organising. 

Consider flooring - Hard flooring (rather than carpets) allows you to clear up any spills and dirt faster. This is a fantastic way to spruce up your home. We say, declutter the carpets!

Colour co-ordinate - Whilst you’re organising your books, CDs, clothing and more to colour co-ordinate, you’ll often find items you no longer want or need.

Donate - Don’t forget to donate anything you don’t want. It’s always a good idea to give back to charity.
