2 minute read

If you’re looking for a way to deep clean your home but you’ve no idea where to start, here are the top 10 places you should deep clean first. You could always get some new furniture whilst you’re at it, replace your old BBQ with a brand new one!

Bathroom - This is a pretty obvious one but it’s a great place to start. Clean your bathroom first, there are fewer miscellaneous items to declutter and you’ll feel accomplished after!

Taps - It’s important to make sure you’re cleaning taps regularly, it’s often something we overlook since we don’t necessarily touch them, but dirt can build up quickly.

Cloths - Tea towels and other hand towels gather germs quickly and they’re often some of the most overlooked items that get cleaned in the house.

Bath towels - Since you only use these when you’re clean, they’re another massively overlooked item. Clean your bath towels regularly!

TV and lights - Surfaces such as TV screens can gather dust quickly and of course, there are those dirty fingers from young kids that touch the screen too!

Computers - We use these for personal uses and for work, make sure these are cleaned at least once a week to ensure dirt doesn’t build up.

Phones  - We touch our phones all day long so of course there’ll be a build-up of germs. Use an anti-septic wipe to help clean your phone screen!

Bath mats - This is another item we often overlook but bath mats need to be cleaned regularly so you’re not stepping out of the shower and onto a dirty mat!

Sofa - Kids especially drop all sorts down the crevices of the sofa, lift up the cushions and use a vacuum to get rid of any unwanted germs and dirt.

Remotes - Just like our phones, we touch these regularly. Wipe your remote down with an anti-septic wipe to ensure all germs vanish!

They’re all of the tips we have! Happy cleaning!
